All our handmade openers are hand sanded with grits ranging from (80 to 1,000). Making these openers feel silky smooth.

After sanding, our openers receive an overnight bath in Walrus cutting board oil which is a proprietary wood finish recipe made up of Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, and Beeswax. This makes our openers FDA compliant for food contact surfaces to be used as cutting boards and butcher blocks.
