Dark Walnut with Red & White Epoxy with a Rustic Red Maple Leaf Epoxy Inlay

This masterpiece consists of a piece of Dark Walnut edged with flowing red & white epoxy, topped off with a rustic red maple leaf.

All our handmade boards are machine sanded with grits ranging from (80 to 1,000) and finished with hand sanding using grits up 3,000. Making this board feel silky smooth.

After sanding, our boards receive an overnight bath in Walrus cutting board oil which is a proprietary wood finish recipe made up of Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, and Beeswax. This makes our boards FDA compliant for food contact surfaces to be used as cutting boards and butcher blocks.

To finish our boards, we polish them using Walrus wood wax which is a handcrafted blend of Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, and Vitamin E. This treatment adds additional protection from water and moisture while bringing out the vivid wood colour and shine.
