Silver Maple Biscuit with Green Epoxy

This amazing piece of wood was harvested from our southern Ontario Tree Kraft Designs property. After drying it out for several years it was turned into a custom serving boards that is perfect for anyone who is looking for a well-crafted product to suit their rustic decor.

All our handmade boards are machine sanded with grits ranging from (80 to 1,000) and finished with hand sanding using grits up 3,000. Making this board feel silky smooth.

After sanding, our boards receive an overnight bath in Walrus cutting board oil which is a proprietary wood finish recipe made up of Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, Vitamin E, and Beeswax. This makes our boards FDA compliant for food contact surfaces such as cutting boards and butcher blocks.

To finish our boards, we polish them using Walrus wood wax which is a handcrafted blend of Beeswax, Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil, and Vitamin E. This treatment adds additional protection from water and moisture while bringing out the vivid wood colour and shine.
